FAQ (frequently asked questions)
Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment. Due to the measures, we have decided to only offer our products online via our webshop.
Pelsbarn was founded in the Netherlands by the couple Daniel and Fay who both have a big heart for animals. After adopting their dog Maya from the shelter, they found out that there weren't many products they thought were good enough for their sweet four-legged friend. This gave them the idea to make better products that also look beautiful.
Pelsbarn is Norwegian for 'dear four-legged friend' and is often used as a pet name in Scandinavian countries. The design of the Pelsbarn dog beds is also inspired by Scandinavian life to bring more peace to any interior.

We ship to the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway and Germany.
All our orders are shipped with Post NL, DHL, UPS or another available shipping company. When your order has been shipped you will receive a track & trace with which you can follow your package. The Pelsbarn products are sent in a safe and sturdy packaging to prevent any damage.
With an order above € 50.00 we ship for free in the Netherlands and Belgium. International shipping costs will be charged.
The average delivery time is 7 to 14 working days. We at Pelsbarn strive to deliver your order within the estimated time. Unfortunately this does not always work. Please contact us if you are waiting longer than the specified delivery time.
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. Please note: as soon as your order has been placed, it will also be prepared for you immediately. It is therefore unfortunately not possible to cancel a completed order. We therefore recommend that you return the ordered products within 14 days after you have received the products. You will then be credited the full order amount.
Some conditions for a return:
- Returned items must be in original condition. Unwashed and unused;
- The goods must be able to be resold by Pelsbarn.nl;
- If possible, use the original packaging to return the goods;
- Include the original enclosed packing slip with your return (or, if you have lost it, a note with your name and order number). Otherwise we cannot process your return;
- After receipt of the returned goods by Pelsbarn.nl, the order will be canceled. The purchase amount will be refunded within 5 working days after cancellation to the account with which the original payment was made.
The following goods are expressly excluded from the right of return:
- Goods ordered for business projects; Customized goods.
- Specially ordered and/or custom goods.
Return costs
The costs for returning from your home to the webshop are for your own account. These costs are approximately 7.25 per package on average, consult the website of your carrier for the exact rates.
All Pelsbarn baskets are machine washable at 30 degrees (do not add other items to the washing machine). After washing, let it air dry overnight and then beat well again.
No that is impossible. All Pelsbarn products are exclusively available at www.pelsbarn.nl. There are plans to open a pop-up store in Utrecht in 2022. Follow us on Instagram @pelsbarn.official for the latest developments!
+ I have not yet received my order and I have been waiting for over 2 weeks. Where is it?
Hopefully you are aware that it can currently take up to 14 business days to receive your order. We kindly ask you to be patient for a while because it can come in any moment.
Take a look at the date on which you placed your order and add 14 working days to that. Have you been waiting longer than 14 working days? Please contact us so we can check where your package is. Don't worry, we'll solve it together!
